Welcome To The Gagnaulavillage

Vermicomposting & Organic Farming Workshops

The goal of this workshop is to produce food in a more sustainable, healthy, and environmentally friendly way via promoting soil health and biodiversity while minimizing harm to the ecosystem.

Gag Naula village is aimed to work with nature rather than against it, leading to healthier produce and reduced environmental impact. That’s why to start with organic farming you should be aware of using natural methods and materials to grow crops and raise animals. It avoids the use of synthetic chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, and artificial fertilizers. Instead, organic farmers rely on traditional practices like crop rotation, composting, and using natural predators to manage pests.

Vermicomposting is the primary process of composting organic waste using special earthworms called redworms or earthworms. These worms consume organic materials like animal waste, kitchen scraps, vegetable peels, and garden waste. As they digest the waste, they produce nutrient-rich vermicompost, which is a valuable natural fertilizer and soil conditioner.
